collectAI expands sales team and wins Max Bense as Head of Strategic Sales
Max Bense has joined collectAI, the digital receivables management company of the Otto Group, in the newly created position of Head of Strategic Sales since June 2018. In this role he reports directly to Steve Emecz, Chief Commercial Officer. As Head of Strategic Sales, Max Bense and his team of three orchestrate the expansion of business in the DACH region in the focus sectors of e-commerce, banking, insurance, utilities and start-ups.

Max Bense is an e-commerce expert and Digital Native bringing in an excellent understanding of the digital disruption potential of established industries. He was previously Director of Business Development and Sales at BLG Logistics AG & Co. KG in Bremen. During his nine-year tenure at Hermes Fulfillment GmbH, he gained basic experience in cross-border e-commerce in sales and account management. Among other things, he worked with the Austrian lingerie and hosiery manufacturer Wolford in the entry into the US and Chinese online trade. In addition, Max was responsible for setting up the Hermes organisation in the USA. He completed his diploma studies at the European University of Applied Sciences Rhein/Erft with a focus on logistics management.
